For two weekends every April, there is one of the most iconic music festivals, featuring that year’s most prominent artists from Green Day to Travis Scott. People dress up in creative, fun outfits and sing their hearts out. This is Coachella! It started in 1999 and has been thriving ever since.
Obviously, artists are a huge part of Coachella. People wait every year to see who is going to be performing and when. Artists from every genre of music are there. They rush to the barricades of their famous artists, hoping to be right in front. There were many, many performers, but there were some that stood out the most. Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, and Benson Boone were the names talked about a lot after Coachella 2025.

Lady Gaga performed for two hours, and people say it was the best two hours of their lives. A direct quote from a fan was, “Lady Gaga didn’t headline Coachella. She reimagined it.” Her gothic theme intrigued the audience, and her outfits, on top of that, encapsulated them even more. She sang Bad Romance, which is one of her most popular songs, Abracadabra, her song that just came out, and Judas, another very loved song by the audience. Overall, people loved her set, and it will be talked about for a while after.

Charli XCX had another very exciting performance. She is a very big pop star, and she gained much fame from her album Brat, which came out in June of 2024. Because of her party attitude, she made the crowd jump up and down. She performed her most popular songs: 360, Von Dutch, Apple, and more. Besides her catchy songs, she also came with a lot of surprises. She brought out popular artists Billie Eilish, Troye Sivan, and Lorde. This whole performance made fans go crazy.

Benson Boone had one of the best shows, in many people’s opinions. He wore a couple of great outfits and back-flipped off pianos. The most memorable part of this performance was the one and only Brian May coming out for the song, Bohemian Rhapsody. Brian May was the lead guitarist in the famous band Queen. He is 77 years old, but played the guitar solo from Bohemian Rhapsody like he was 28 again. Benson Boone sang this song wonderfully and paid a good tribute to Freddie Mercury. Brian May is one of the best guitar players out there, and it is awesome that he came out for Coachella. You would think that people would be super excited for the lead guitarist of one of the best bands ever to come out, but the crowd didn’t even know who he was. It was almost silent, besides people singing, and this caused an uproar on social media. The next weekend, Benson Boone played the same song, and instead of Brian May coming out, it was a cardboard cutout of him to make fun of the audience. In the end, his performance was once and a lifetime.

These are all the top performances at Coachella 2025. Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, and Benson Boone gave the crowd a day they would never forget. From Lady Gaga’s “satanic” show to Benson Boone’s special surprise, Coachella 2025 will be remembered for a long time.
