Central has thousands of students, each with their own reasons for choosing this school. One very important thing that brought many of us together was the opportunity to tour Central. Many students were unaware of what high school they wanted to attend, but after touring Central, they gained insight into its amazing extracurricular activities and academics. Two eighth graders who recently toured Central already feel that Central is home to them and hope to get in. One student’s name is Kemi Adeyemo. Her tour guides were Ori and Sienna (286). After the tour, I asked Kemi to share her opinions about Central and how Central is a good fit for her. She said, “There are many opportunities like debate and orchestra, which are two things I personally do. I know Central requires 15-30 hours of community service which is reasonable. Plus, there are different levels of classes that I can take at my own pace. Central is my number one choice.”

The other eighth grader who toured Central is Nicholas Andreola. He said, “I loved how much there was of everything. There were so many extracurriculars. There was genuinely everything I wanted to do there. The academics are obviously amazing because of that Blue Ribbon award.” Nick had a very similar opinion to Kemi stating that the academics are amazing and that they have a variety of extracurricular activities.

Central is a college preparatory school that has several courses and an endless amount of clubs. After hearing Kemi and Nicholas’s opinions after touring Central, it’s clear what draws students to this school: the amazing academics and the awesome clubs that Central offers.  As Central’s course and club catalog continues to grow, hundreds of new students get to partake in an exciting high school experience every year.
